The Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices (RQF) is an industry standard qualification for becoming an IQA (Internal Quality Assurer) in the FE and HE sector. The training centres will expect you to have this qualification if you are to take up an IQA position. You are not required to have any prior qualifications or experience to start this course, but you will be required to assess a minimum of two assessors in order to generate the evidence required to complete this qualification. Duration and Delivery

This L4 course is designed to be completed online at the pace that suits you with support. We provide a fast-track completion option for this course. It can take as little as 1 week or up to 1 month, depending on your previous experience and dedication to the course. The qualification is delivered through our Virtual Learning Environment that helps you in polishing your assessment skills.

Practical Requirement

Trainee IQA's will be required to assess a minimum of two assessors in order to generate the evidence required to complete this qualification.

Assessment and Verification

All units within this course are internally assessed by our qualified assessors and externally verified by the awarding organisation. The assessment takes the form of written assignments and demonstration of assessment skills through video recording, detailed guidance for which will be provided by the tutor once you’re enrolled on our online portal.

Successful completion of this qualification enables learners to progress onto the full Level 4 IQA Certificate, Level 4 Award in Understanding the External Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice and Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training
